A Very Rewarding trip to Atlanta for teamRAVE!!!
Atlanta Summer II was a great success! Emily Mitzel and Moose had a banner weekend - they were members of the Championship Team for the Adult Regional competition, were 3rd place overall in the Individual Adult competition, and Champion of the regular adults at the horse show!
Not to be outdone, Alexandra Kozel and Levi took home a 3rd place prize in the Childrens Team Championship with a 2nd place finish in the hack, and clinched the Reserve Championship for the entire Children's Regional Individual Competition and WON the hack! Truly an amazing experience at the Championships - we will definitely be putting it on our calendars for next year.
Our other RAVE competitors did not dissappoint!! Our National Derby Boys, Al and Remy, were fantastic in a field of 30. Both returned for the Handy Round and Remy came away with the 8th place prize and Al was an impressive 2nd!! Paula Pell also showed Remy during the week and had nice trips in the Non-Pro Hunters. Carrie Carse and her two mounts were OUTSTANDING - winning SEVERAL classes over the course of the week and finishing with a double clean trip and 4th prize out of a competitive group in the Adult Jumper Classic on Calvin. Stacey Vertullo and Ravenwood's "My Way" had great trips and placed in a highly competitive Younger Adult Hunter Section... Bahama is getting all grown up! :)
We also had fun playing with the new jumper - a win in the 1.15 was a good way to kick off the summer with Bounce!!!
